The assessment report
We will write a report to the person who referred you (and your GP if asked to) with a summary of the assessment and an opinion. It will:
Detail your strengths and weaknesses in thinking skills and mental abilities
Detect underlying problems in brain function and the potential diagnosis
Identify possible changes in functioning over time
Make recommendations for treatment and/or rehabilitation
Suggest any further investigations that may be needed
Feedback of your assessment
The clinical neuropsychologist will discuss with you the best way for you to hear about the results of the assessment. If you wish, a copy of the report can be sent to you. In addition, you may want to discuss the results with the professional who referred you, or your GP, at your next appointment.
